The little houses were great, amazing decoration and attention to detail. Air-conditioning in all rooms, big jacuzzi, fridge etc. The shared pool could have been a little bigger. Location was beautiful with free roaming deer, chickens, Shetland horses and a few rabbits in amongst lush mountains. The breakfast was great and the location is also amazing with home made produce, fresh eggs etc. A bit of a let down was the cake they served at breakfast which was obviously mass produced and really was no need to include. The restaurant had decent food, what you would expect of a well visited taverna. Now the negatives: service for the guests staying in the houses was lacking. There was not any staff to take care of little problems, took them ages to fix a simple issue with our sink, they grumbled when I asked for an extra fob for the gate since we were two groups sharing a double bedroom house, the blonde lady at reception did not seem to like her job very much. Also there was no room services at all which is not a problem usually but if you have to walk up a steep hill to get a can of coke, maybe they should consider stocking the rooms with more than two bags of tea and two crackers. Or consider some windows were you can place orders from the restaurant. Maybe a nespresso machine would be nice instead of that terrible filter machine from the 80s. Also there was deer poo everywhere, which, in the 5 days we were there, was only cleaned up once meaning before it got cleaned it was impossible to walk and not step in poo. Poo needs daily cleaning. The houses were not cheap so pretty sure they can afford to spend more money on more staff. Also there were people from the taverna roaming around and peeking around the houses and the establishment's solution was to lock the gate between the restaurant and the guest houses, but they only gave us one key, which obviously caused issues for us having to back and forth and figure out the logistics of 5 people moving independently but with one key... I suggested they put a big red no entry sign, the response was that they did and the visitors stole it, which is a ridiculous lie. I would go again but hoping for some...

Second stay for us there (October 2011 first time) to celebrate my Name Day!||Loved it again! Perfect romantic getaway for couples but also interesting for families. Children will love the calm animals wandering all around the place, coming to the verandas to get a treat (a pack of toasts in-room free of charge, deers and ponies like them).||We took a walk at the nearby little forest by the stream and then back to the house to enjoy the fireplace and the round jacuzzi in room, watching and being watched by the animals! A peacock came at the window while we were having mountain tea (tea&coffee are provided for free at the kitchenette), TV was nothing compared to this beauty (but there is a TV if you need it)...||The heavy tree door (real tree) lets some air in, but the heating is good (you can adjust it as high as you want, we had it at 24C and it was hot enough to go around in underwear).||Last time we had our pet cat with us (no problems accepting her).||Breakfast can be served in room or at the main restaurant (same fairytale atmosphere) with 2 fireplaces on from early in the morning. Homemade and unfortunately slow (service is slow generally), but fresh squeezed orange juice (a carafe of ~3 large glasses for 2 persons), traditional cheese pie, freshly made eggs any style, yogurt, bread, ham&cheese toasts, homemade marmalade, honey and good butter, plus pancakes a la minute along with mountain tea and Greek coffee as we requested. They would keep bringing if we wanted more, but it was too much!||Yes, Saturday night rates are steep (120€ high season /100 low) but Sundays and weekdays are OK for 90€, breakfast incl (and fireplace with unlimited woods too, some hotels charge extra). The restaurant is soooo good too, always open and accommodating!||||We will visit again, any season is fine, they even have a swimming pool...

Amazing place especially for family with kids. Great menu with fair prices. Also nice rooms if you decide to stay. Updated 2025 Review. My previous review needs an overhaul. Let's go. A Magical Escape for Families! We revisited this place after seven years, and we’re happy to say it’s just as wonderful as we remembered—if not better! The property is exceptionally well-maintained, and the experience remains unforgettable. Restaurant & Atmosphere The food is still delicious, with generous portions at fair prices. The view is breathtaking, and the fairytale-like atmosphere makes every meal feel special. Breakfast is included if you stay for the night and it is tasty. If you want delivery on homes, it cost 5€ but it definitely worth. The Property & Animals The grounds are spacious and full of life —you’ll encounter deer, ponies, chickens, and even peacocks roaming freely! It’s a fantastic experience for kids (and adults!) who love animals. The Accommodation Below the restaurant, a scenic path leads to charming stone cottages where you can spend the night. These family-sized homes feature two bedroom, two bathrooms and a private jacuzzi. The thick stone walls keep the interiors cool in summer, making them incredibly comfortable. The Pool & Overall Experience At the center of the cottage area, there’s a 24/7 accessible pool, perfect for a refreshing dip at any time. Final Thoughts This is a truly magical place, ideal for families, couples, and anyone looking for a unique getaway. If you want a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, animals, and luxury touches, don’t miss it! Highly recommended!

It's a restaurant that has been operating for many years and is getting better and better year by year. Now it has gained such a good reputation that there are many visitors from neighboring cities who come to the area just for this restaurant. The route from Mouzaki is very nice, between trees and small villages. There are two parking spaces at the restaurant. If you visit on a Saturday or Sunday you must have a reservation. There is a nicely decorated indoor area and an enclosed outdoor area under a pergola made of tree trunks. The food is amazing! You should definitely try all the traditional pies (vegetable pie, cheese pie and the local plastos pie) and any meat you like because they are all very tasty and the portions are big. Below the restaurant there is a large yard with ponies and at the end of the yard are the rooms for rent, but only the residents have access to them.
