This place has amazing view and I think that this is one and enough reason to visit it. The atmosphere is quite cosy to relax and enjoy cold beers or ouzo before and after your swimming at the sea. , Additionally, the staff is friendly and helpful. But I didn't like at all the fact that the volume of music was so high. Ok, this might be only my quirk but I have to mention it.
[Edit after owners reply] I believe that this photo that I just uploaded certifies that I was at your bar. This picture is taken from the small beach. When I was sitting on the bar, not the beach, I was disturbed by the music. But as I said at my first comment, this might be only my quirk. The 3 stars review is not only about the music but also because of the pork kalamakia that was not very good (we order 6 pieces and we left the 2 and think that I usually eat alone this amount). Thanks for the reply!!!
Ps. I have also other pictures with my two friends that I was at your bar but I don't want to put their faces on google. We also ordered two ouzo, four beers, I think gourgettes balls and...
Read moreI didn't know, what I've been missing out until today. The place is located in a "hidden" spot, only locals will see. I was thinking about giving 4 stars because of this but it wouldn't be fair to the place and the people working there. We were a large group of 15 people, so we ordered a bit of everything. Usually, something is a bit off, when an allegedly "small" local tavern has to handle such a big order without having a reservation beforehand. But my "worries" were unfounded. Everything was cooked "just right" and the portions we're big enough, even on the salad (horiatiki = χωριάτικη). All our orders (around 14 to 16 dishes, comprised of different kinds of food such as fries, salad, saganaki and the main courses etc.) came without any form of delay and in good spaces of time between them. Thus allowing us to not having to eat cold food, because we had so many dishes in front of us, neither having to wait long enough, so as to lose our appetite. Have your 5 stars and be proud, you've...
Read moreUpdate: Cave beach bar has been closed, google transferred my review to the other restaurant belonging to the same family (in Athens). We are coming back every year! Kyria Dimitra and family are extremely hospitable and the food is delicious, homemade right in front of you! Our highlights are bifteki (meatballs) and grilled ouzo shrimps. The little beach/bay beneath the restaurant is worth a visit: clear waters and lots of sea creatures. It’s best to wear bathing shoes though as there are some urchins and seaweed. But the view is stunning, with an almost exotic touch! And of course the food. I can...
