Hidden in the lovely village of Limnes, just a short drive from Agios Nikolaos, this taverna is an absolute gem! From start to finish, the experience was amazing — honestly, probably the most delicious taverna we’ve tried so far in Crete.

The atmosphere is cozy, authentic, and full of that warm local charm. Portions are huge — the potato omelette, especially, was unforgettable… honestly the size of a birthday cake! 🥔🎂 And yes, it tasted just as incredible as it looked.

Incredible place, mostly attended by locals. The atmosphere is super friendly and the food is fresh and good. We were welcomed with appetisers, then had dinner with a variety of mezzes, and at the end again they offered us a delicious ice cream.
