Scopas Café Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

We have been here first in 2018 followed by a visit in 2021 and this year. We cannot relate with the negative reviews. Some critics say it’s pricy. I guess they must be living on the dark side of the moon. Prices haven’t changed in years and they are absolutely fine. Think for a second where the next grocery store is and the distance stuff needs to travel to get here. There’s also no language barrier issue - English and Greek work just fine. Dishonest people. They charged me 5,50€ instead of 18 (paid by card) and because I am honest, I told them they made a mistake. Instead of charging me the difference, the bartender told me she was going to credit my card again with 5,50€ and then asked me to pay for 18€. I did everything she asked me through the POS (everything is written in Greek so you have to trust the person handing it to you). I was never credited of the 5,5€ and ended up paying 18+5,5€. Amazing place with amazing food. Excellent greek salat, humus, desserts and very tasty drinks! Very friendly service and we were served pretty quick. Nice authentic decoration. Modern lounge music creates a really realxing and soothing atmosphere. The view there is absolutely breathtaking and you want to spend a while there enjoying your food. Special Tip: Try the joghurt with fruits...check my picture and you know...
