Wonderful place with lovely view and great people, filled with hospitality. You should come inside to feel the spirit of Greece. If you are travelling from Rethymno to Matala Beach, it is perfect spot to stop and drink coffee!

Great local restaurant, very nice couple that own the place. Food was tasty and plentiful. We received complimentary desert, a chocolate cake with whipped cream. Outdoor sitting with great views of the valley.

Kävimme kevyellä lounaalla. Söimme kreikkalaisen salaatin ja toastin. Salaatti oli tuoreista raaka-aineista valmistettu, feta hyvää, Toast ihan perusjees. Palvelu oli ystävällistä - omistaja tarjosi ruuan jälkeen kakkupala ja tyypilliseen kreetalaiseen tapaan Rakisnapsit. Viereisessä pöydässä istuvat paikalliset intoutuivat tarjoamaan vielä toiset Rakit, joita kippisteltiin. Kiva tunnelma!

Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. Nicht zu vergleichen mit den Tavernen in den Touristengebieten. Freundlich wird man hier auf Kreta überall bedient, aber immer wieder zeigt sich das Qualität sowie Quantität in den Dorftavernen doch unerreichbar sind. Wir waren absolut zufrieden, wir wurden mehr als satt und preislich war es auch absolut top. Kann diese Taverne guten Gewissens empfehlen, wer mal auf dem Weg von oder nach Agia Galini durch Narvathi fährt, der sollte dort eine Pause einlegen. Liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße, nicht...
