Hidden gem in Arkesini, 50 m out of the main road but well indicated by a sign. Family owned and managed. True local food, prepared with love and care by the lady in the small kitchen with superior ingredients. There are several excellent places scattered around in deep Amorgos, and this is one not to miss. If you like traditional old-Greece family-owned tavernas, this is the place. You should not miss dolmadakia (wondeful!), briam, choriatiki salad with freesh goat cheese xinomizithra and LOCAL CAPERS (in vinegar with leaves and all, from local areas), peppers in oven with cheese,..
