Incredible food and service at this family-run restaurant. It doesn't get more local than this: the father is a shepherd/farmer, the mother and son work in the kitchen, the tomatoes come from the son's garden and the daughter was our lovely waitress. We ordered the pork steak (grilled by the son, HUGE and cooked to perfection), the slow-cooked goat (delicious, cooked by mama), the fava (best we tried between Santorini and Amorgos) and the little fried fishies. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were very generous - it was a lot for us to get through. At the end of the evening, we were offered their homemade "tomato spoon sweet", made with cherry tomatoes from their garden. We were even brought out some fresh cherry tomatoes when our waitress thought we didn't understand what the dessert was made from: they were some of the tastiest tomatoes I've ever had.
Throughout the evening many locals came in and ate/chatted inside with the family, while we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere outside and made friends with the local cat & dog. They were interested in the food of course, but pretty well-behaved. We also passed by during lunchtime when it was absolutely packed on the outside under-cover area.
A true delight. Well worth a visit when you're on the south...
Read moreAn incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere and terrace are fantastic and beautiful, with a refreshing breeze and exceptionally friendly staff. The food is outstanding; everything is homemade, even the cheese/spinach pie doughs. The tomatoes taste like tomatoes, the onions are incredibly flavorful, cheeses are unique, and spices are exceptional. I highly recommend this place. Don’t hesitate—enjoy one of the most authentic and exceptionally well executed Greek cuisine in Amorgos. Truly...

All dishes have homemade touch mixed with the local Amorgos flavours, perfectly cooked satisfying the most demanding palates! The Amorgian version of Greek salad with “xinomizythra” cheese should be on your picks by default. Absolutely speechless for the success of this family business in turning this little, isolated corner of the rocky island to a paradise for all...
