The Aegean Balcony — Restaurant in Municipality of Andros

Amazed from the good reviews we decided to try this restaurant. The view is spectacular but unfortunately we faced with a very cold welcoming and service. All the staff was very cold and extremely sad in the face. I’m sorry if they had a bad day or a loss in the family, we felt like at a funeral, in such case my condolences otherwise is needed to work on the customer relations. After an exhilarating drive up a mountain, we reached this amazing food experience. Every dish was a « mouthgasm” one after the other. Great smiling service, multilingual staff and plentiful portions. The prices were more than reasonable as well. Of course you can’t beat the view but go for the food too. I highly recommend the home grown wine ( kind of a rose), fried to perfection Zucchini slices and the goat in red sauce. You will leave very satisfied and ready for the drive down the mountain side....

We were coming back from Chora, and felt a little peckish. We were the first guests, the place was empty, but after we had ordered, more people started arriving. The food was good, very much the traditional family run Greek taverna.
