We had a wonderful dining experience at a traditional Cretan taverna that was recommended to us by a local. The atmosphere was authentic and cozy, with outdoor seating in a charming rustic setting that made us feel like we were truly experiencing the local culture.

We enjoyed a selection of different meats specially prepared by the chef — everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. As a surprise, we were offered a complimentary dessert and a glass of traditional raki, which added a lovely touch to the evening.

Our kids especially loved the tzatziki sauce, and my personal favorite were the fried zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese — absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh and homemade, and you could really feel the heart and soul of Cretan cuisine in every bite.

Very bad experience with the staff! We went there to have dinner without reservation ,we were 4 adults and 4 children we were told to wait as a table was asking for the bill so we waited. After 30 mins of waiting the guy in charge told us that he was sorry but he didn’t know the table was already booked for other customers. We asked what time was the table booked for and he answered for 9 o’clock. It was already 9.30 so I asked why he couldn’t give the table to us as the other people were late and not there and he said they don’t work like that! He was holding a phone briefly showing us a WhatsApp reservation and we noticed there were emojis hearts!So clearly that table was for some last minute booking from friends ! Appalling service and shameful...
