Agamemnon Pallas — Restaurant in Municipality of Argos and Mykines

Similarly to other reviews, the chef here is heavy handed with the vinagre. We were with a tour group. Lunch began with grilled toast in olive oil, then artichoke hearts in a sour sauce, not recommended. Then a salad, not bad. The highlight was the grilled chicken, nicely done. The other option of lamb seemed less enjoyable. The grilled potatoes indeed have a tang (vinagre!). Cut fruits for dessert.

Wine and beer are reasonably priced for tourists but not great. Excellent service.

We went to a truck stop yesterday that had much better food so in summary not a good value as the chef and the taste of the food is...

First of all: There is no menu! They presented us the unheated food, which indicates that they just heat it up in a microwave, and the variety of food is very small. Then we got our drinks which were too expensive: 3,50 for 250mm Cola! As food i chose a Kebab which probably was heated in microwave as well as the other food my friends got. In addition it wasn't very good too exatctly as the bread we got before. Also too expensive! As a free dessert was presented a cake with a vanilla pudding in shape of a rose. It's obviius this isn't handmade and fresh. So it is with every food here! And the water...

Whoever runs the restaurant should be ashamed of what they offer. Lamb that tasted like a corpse, tomatoes stuffed with raw rice, moussaka was the worst i ever had. The worst thing was the tap water that just tasted so wrong that i can't even describe it. So it basically forced you to get some kind of drink that certainly wasn't cheap. On top of all, the personnel was rude and inattentive and the bill was unbelievably expensive, 12 euros for every single dish, so you had no actual choice.
