We stopped by Zapatas from Nemea enroute to Monemvasia. Only 2nd day into our road trips from Athens we were already charmed by the hospitality and the demeanor of Greek restaurant service. The owner went to great lengths to explain and showed us the fresh caught of the day. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and ordered way too much at first. It was a super busy day and I do believe the personnel were doing their best to cater for everyone. I found the menu to be rather average in taste. There were dishes that we liked and dishes that could have been more thought off. We was so happy with food that i totally forgot to take a pic 😆 we have eaten red mullet fish ( exceptionally cooked), grilled shrimps (so sweet and tasty) fried sardella, tope fish with garlic sauce (very good) and shrimps saganaki but the stars was red mulet and shrimps grill.
