Marina Gastrobar Othoni — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

I come to Othoni since 22 years and I’ve never missed a summer. I’ve had very good diner to all restaurants here but tonight I think I had the best diner that I ever had since 22 years, at Marina Gastrobar. Linguine with lobster was great, octopus was crazy, fantastic. We drank very good wine. Service was great, all the crew are professional and Joe (the boss) is truly the best : he knows perfectly what he is doing and I am sure that he will do the best for the island. He and his family are highly professionals. Moreover they are local that means they love this place and you can be sure that they will be great for the future. I live in Paris all year, seen so many nice bars/restaurant, and it’s so good to find a nice place like this in Othoni, my ❤️. Right in front of the beach at Othonoi, we sat down to enjoy our ouzo, accompanied by a simple yet exceptional meze platter. The marinated anchovies stood out, along with the homemade eggplant salad, rich with a deep, smoky flavor that evoked old, authentic recipes.

Είναι ένα πολύ διαφορετικό κατάστημα εστίασης εν συγκρίσει όλων των υπολοίπων, Είτε αφορά την εικόνα του καταστήματος μα κυρίως το πολύ πλούσιο και ποιοτικό μενού, θεωρώ είναι ένα εγχείρημα που έλειπε από ένα τόσο μαγικό μέρος όπως ειναι οι Οθωνοι!
