Salado Pizzeria Trattoria — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Since there are little vegan options for my girlfriend, we decided to go to this pizzeria.

This place is located close to the entrance to Ermones Beach. Enough parking opportunities in the evening.

We got greeted by a really nice waiter, always smiling, helpful, and polite. Kudos to this guy!

The location is simple, like most restaurants in Corfu. A good upgrade there would be some ventilators on the terras. It was already cooling down a lot, but the pizzaoven kept the heat up quite a lot. Would be a good upgrade!

The food was very nice, al fresh, and there were no problems with changing certain ingredients. Brusketa had cheese , and the base was pizzadough, which was kind of strange. My gf couldn't eat it:( . None the less, it was very nice! We got a pizzabox for the leftovers, which was nice.

Another tip: make some fresh tiramisu as desert! It's not hard to make, but it's very tasty. Especially since they don't really have any deserts on the menu (which is...

We sat down at the table around 8:40 PM. After us, a few other tables were occupied. I waited quite a long time for my order to be taken, with the tables that came after us taking priority. I didn't understand but I said we were on vacation and not to get angry. I ordered a carbonara pasta and a special pizza. At 10:30 PM the special pizza arrived and the surprise, 5 minutes later the carbonara pizza which of course I refused. After 2 hours of waiting you kind of lose your appetite. We watched them put the finishing touches on this place from the Air BNB we were staying in nearby. Super friendly people, the best salad we had in our 28 day stay in Corfu and the pizza was delicious as well. Unfortunately we had to leave the day after it opened or we would have eaten here...
