If you're looking for a truly authentic Greek dining experience, Strivodikeion is a must-visit. Tucked away in a hidden corner of the village, this taverna offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that transports you back to a simpler time. The traditional decor, complete with wooden tables and chairs and colorful artwork, sets the perfect mood for a leisurely meal with family or friends.
But what really sets Strivodikeion apart is the food. The restaurant is known for its top-quality ingredients and traditional recipes that have been passed down for generations. The menu features a range of dishes, from classic Greek favorites to unique starters that you won't find anywhere else.
We had the pleasure of trying some of the most unique starters, each of which was packed with flavor and made with care. The main courses we had were veal with aubergines and Greek graviera, and chicken yiaourtlou with yoghurt and tomato sauce, and we were not disappointed. The dishes were prepared perfectly, with just the right balance of seasoning and spices to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients.

Location is absolutely charming in the village next to the church with lovely people going about...

Also, they presented me the wrong bill, in that case instead of a quick and dubious sorry (😉) a drink or liqueur from the house would have been more appreciated, just my personal opinion....
