Γραμματόσημο Καφέ — Restaurant in Municipality of Chaidari

We have been there last Sunday around 11:00 a.m and it was alredy difficult to find a place to sit. The place is nicely decorated (vintage style) and the staff polite and friendly. They treat you in a generous manner, with the use of free add-ons. We had green tea and our order had been served with free portions of honey, jam, butter spread, along with a piece of whole grain bread and a croissant. The music was atmosperic but only in the one part of the venue (the one wich is more spacious upstairs). Forunately we found a place to seat there. On Sundays it is, as I mentionned above, crowded so therefore noisy. This is a minus, but that's the way it goes. If you want to find a more quiet space to sit, go early and try the upper floor of the smaller sit area. The prices...

Beautiful surroundings and decor. Reminding me of times past and the atmosphere of cafés in the 80's and before. Parking was extremely difficult and took more than 20 minutes to find, going round in circles. The cappuccino was awful, the espresso blend was not very good and I believe the barista is inexperienced or just doesn't know how to prepare a good cup of coffee. Service was really slow, understaffed business, waitresses polite. The cheesecake was quite good, although probably not prepared in-house. Το ένα αστέρι μόνο για τον χώρο, όμορφος κ ιδιαίτερος . Πρώτη φορά επισκεφτήκαμε το μαγαζί κ παρόλο που μας άρεσε σαν χώρος φύγαμε άρον άρον. Καθήσαμε κ περιμέναμε να μας πάρουν παραγγελία ωστόσο στο τραπέζι υπήρχε ένα βαζάκι με ζάχαρη κ από λάθος κίνηση ο μικρός μου 7 χρόνων το έριξε κάτω.. ήρθε η σερβιτόρα κ με ειρηνικό ύφος είπε ζητήσαμε συγνώμη για το συμβάν παραγγείλαμε κ μας ζήτησε να αλλάξουμε τραπέζι για να μαζέψουν τα σπασμένα.. όσο περιμέναμε την παραγγελία μας ήρθε μάλλον ο ιδιοκτήτης του καταστήματος να μαζέψει την ζημιά κ με ύφος μας είπε Είπαμε ναι ο μικρός καταλαθος ζητήσαμε ξανά συγνώμη κ ο κύριος συνέχισε κ όλο κάτι μουρμούρισε όσο μάζευε… ο μικρός μου ένιωσε άσχημα που τον ένας Άγνωστος λες κ έκανε κ εγώ δεν ξέρω τι… Ζητήσαμε άλλη μια φορά συγνώμη για το συμβάν ακυρώσαμε την παραγγελία μας κ φύγαμε δεν θα καθόμασταν να μας δεν είπαν τίποτα μάλλον χάρηκαν που μας ξεφορτώθηκαν λες κ κάναμε κάτι τραγικό.. Δεν έχω ξανασυναντήσει τέτοια συμπεριφορά έχω κ εγώ κατάστημα που έρχονται κ παιδιά κ ζημιές γίνονται κ μου έχουν κάνει πολλές φορές αλλά δεν θα τους πάρουμε κ το κεφάλι σιγά παιδιά είναι.. Δεν θα ξαναπηγαίναμε ποτέ ! Δυστυχώς υπάρχουν τόσο όμορφα μαγαζιά σαν εικόνα κ άσχημα στην εξυπηρέτηση κ την συμπεριφορά! ΕΠΙΕΙΚΩΣ ...
