Great atmosphere, very friendly and hospitable staff. Chef/owner is very friendly and the waiters are professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. They also were able to cater towards celiac (gluten free) requirements for one of us, which is always a win!

Here are our must tries: Must order Spicy Shrimp! The Ouzo Shrimp are delicious as well (you cant go wrong with any of the shrimp options) The grilled octopus is great as well. The grilled eggplant/aubergine are great too (but just like the excellent tuna salad, the portion is very much an appetiser/small portion. So order more) The calamari is not overly battered which was great.

The quick and friendly waiters truly went the extra mile, dashing across the road with food in hand to ensure prompt service.

the fried courgettes were exquisitely tender, providing a delightful crunch with each bite. tsatsiki, although the portions were slightly smaller compared to other tavernas, had a burst of flavours.

However, the true star of the evening was the sea bream. It was hands down the best I've had in years! Cooked to perfection, the fish was incredibly fresh and juicy.

We enjoyed their delicious white wine. Its taste perfectly paired with the seafood and added a touch of elegance to the dining experience.

My God. How have I not spent time here before.

I have lived in Athens (from Texan) for 8 months now. I happened upon Korfos on a simple drive about. It was a spot on the map and I decided to stop in for some lunch at Stevedo-Korfos Restaurant. The village is an absolute delight, and a stark opposite from life in Athens. The restaurant is operated by some of the kindest people I've come across. The menu is simple but it's all done so well. When you eat here, you're eating a home cooked meal.
