Tavern the Garden — Restaurant in Municipality of Corinth

This was our favorite restaurant of our entire five day trip to the area. We returned twice! The service was incredible. We were a hard-to-please group of 11: three with Celiac (strict non-gluten diet) , one on a very specific no bread/sugar/many other food diet, and three small children. The service was incredible and patient, English friendly, and the view was absolutely incredible. Large open spaces for the children to run around in and a five minute walk from a beautiful beach. The food was absolutely delicious- best fish of the entire trip- delicious rose, and really affordable. Everyone was pleased and able to eat lots. The second time we returned the servers remembered to separate the cutlery from the bread (usually they are served together) and that meant a lot to the Celiacs around the table. All in all, highly recommend. Would return to Greece to visit this restaurant...

I’ve been coming to this family-owned traditional Greek tavern since I was a kid, and it’s truly a hidden gem. We had dinner at this tavern, and everything we ordered was very tasty. We were especially surprised by the beef burger and the dark pork souvlaki. The burger patty tasted like meatballs (completely different from what we expected), but it was very well seasoned, and the dark pork souvlaki was perfectly grilled and spiced.

I also have to praise the Greek salad – one of the best I’ve ever had. The feta cheese was fantastic.

Of course, the cherry on top was the homemade ice cream served at the end, which was on the house.
