At first everything looked really good and also the reviews on Google were almost perfect so I thought this restaurant would be a nice choice. When we arrived we were impressed by the amazing view. But then, when we ordered, the waitress was quickly disappointed and annoyed that we only spoke English and no Greek. That alone wouldn’t have led me to write this review. The real disappointment came when the food arrived. We had ordered the veal steak and the lamb chops. It was so bad that we couldn’t even finish it. Even though the prices are a bit cheaper compared to other places, this was still pretty much the worst food I have ever eaten. I honestly don’t understand the good reviews here. Maybe all the other dishes are fine except the two we had, but...
Read moreExcellent taverna, off the main road but in the charming village of Vamvaka. Small but cosy outdoor area, with a beautiful view over the coast. Small menu (that's always a good sign) but the dishes are excellent, with fresh and tasty products, some of them coming from the taverna's own garden. No frills, just plain old excellent taverna food. The staff is super friendly and helpful, too. Tired of gerolimenas or areopoli overhyped tavernas, try this one, you'll thank...
