This is simply one of the best restaurants of the whole island - and trust me… we discovered many restaurants on Samos. The staff is absolutely warm-hearted. We called at 5:30pm for a table for the same evening but didn’t exactly know when we would arrive because we were coming by boat; they still kept our beautiful table even though we came later than planned and even though they had people waiting at the bar. The food was top notch! Everything we had was delicious and served beautifully for the eye to enjoy. In the end we paid a price we definitely did not expect for this high quality. 20 Euro p.P. for several starters, mains and lots of wine. This is definitely a place that we will come back to and recommend everyone coming to Samos! We loved it — efxaristo para poli!

Meine Frau und ich sind zufällig auf das Restaurant gestoßen, weil wir unser Hotel ganz in der Nähe haben und uns eigentlich "nur" die Bar gegenüber wärmstens empfohlen wurde... Die tolle Lage am Wasser hat uns sofort angesprochen, also wollten wir dem Akrogiali eine Chance geben - und wurden belohnt! Der Service war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts sehr aufmerksam, freundlich, schnell und alle Bestellungen und Wünsche wurden genau so umgesetzt wie wir uns das gewünscht haben! Wir haben beide u.a. Fisch- und Pastagerichte bestellt und die Portionen waren verglichen mit anderen Restaurants in Ireon auffallend üppig, sehr schön präsentiert und alles war tadellos frisch und hervorragend und mit Liebe zum Detail zubereitet! Was wir bislang in der Form hier in Ireon nicht erlebt haben!! Dazu haben uns die im Verhältnis zur Qualität und Quantität wirklich günstigen und überaus fairen Preise für alles, was wir bestellten, zusätzlich positiv überrascht und haben unseren durchweg positiven Eindruck am Ende komplettiert. Als wir hier waren am Abend, waren nahezu alle Tische besetzt (immerhin ca. 18 von über 20) und trotzdem wurden wir äußerst schnell bedient, was wir wirklich bemerkenswert fanden, weil nur zwei Mitarbeiter im Service waren. Wir hätten entsprechend auch vollstes Verständnis gehabt, wenn alles deutlich länger gedauert hätte. Ein letzter für uns sehr wichtiger Faktor ist die Sauberkeit und die allgemeine Hygiene. Und auch hier können wir nichts Negatives erwähnen. Die Toiletten waren sauber und gepflegt, wie auch die Tische; Handdesinfektionsmittel nd Reinigungstücher am Tisch waren ebenfalls ausreichend vorhanden. Demnach können wir das Restaurant zusammenfassend uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und was uns betrifft, wissen wir jetzt schon, dass es nicht unser letzter Besuch im Akrogiali gewesen sein wird!! Vielen Dank an das ganze Team für einen wunderbaren, kulinarischen Abend im Herzen von Ireon! 🤗 👏👏🙏

I tried almost all the recommended and even award-winning restaurants on the island, but Akrogiali easily topped them all — by far! It’s a laid-back and cozy place, but the flavors are absolutely top-notch. Everything we ate was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. At the end of the meal, they served complimentary desserts which were just as delicious. Our waiter was not only attentive but also had a great sense of humor, making our evening even more enjoyable. If you’re going to eat at just one restaurant in Samos, let it be Akrogiali!

We had dinner on the first of our three nights in the village. We had a rare fillet steak and a Dorade (whole grilled fish). We accompanied it with a Chef’s Salad. The meal was so spectacular and the service so friendly, we decided to dine again on our second night. This time, we had grilled octopus and a Dorade - again the food was spectacular and the service friendly. On our third (and final) night, we returned - each of us having a Dorade. In addition to the delicious food and the friendly service, the location - with the waves lapping at the sea wall adjacent to our table and the moon rising over the Aegean - made our three dinners truly memorable.
