Godai seascape is a nice beach bar in the form of a pavilion with a sloping roof construction on Petrothalassa Bay. It is worth spending half a day there. When you arrive by car, you will find a car park covered with nets. the beach there is filled with red-brown gravel and the secluded beach is a feast for the eyes.
Showers, toilets, children's playground, catering with friendly service and a clean beach invite you to stay for a long time. The sunbeds and umbrellas are of good quality. The prices of the sunbeds are calculated according to their proximity to the beach.
I tried some fish dishes which were of excellent quality. The portions though are more like starters. The price of €28.00 for three red mullet fillets was excessive and out of proportion to the quantity and preparation along with the avocado mousse. The ceviche dish with sardines was more pleasant at €8.00, but still not a special offer.
We were served by Ioanna, a very pleasant and caring person who truly looked after our well-being. The other two young waiters and the barman were also very friendly. We were given free tiramisu and orange fizz for the children as dessert.
The music level near the bar was OK. If that's too loud for you, you can sit at tables opposite. The green lawn surprised with its abundance and emphasised the positive image of the location.
On the whole, I would recommend the beach bar, as it is a blessing to find such structures in places like Petrothalassa Bay. I don't find the prices for the dishes reasonable at all, but for a single occasion, the expense would be acceptable, even considering a...

Pros: Beautiful grounds, tasty drinks, friendly staff, and gorgeous beach/views.
Cons: I do not think the bartender knows what a fluid ounce is lol. Shots should not be delivered half full with a 4 ounce lemon inside of them. Especially when you are paying top dollar. I had to send the shots back; when they brought them back - it was still not a full shot.
There should be shrimp inside the Shrimp tacos; especially at the price you are charging. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos and there was probably one full shrimp between the 3 of them.
Summary: If you want to pay the prices of Mykonos - this is the spot. If you want to enjoy the beautiful beaches in Argolida without being price gouged; there...
Read moreThe little bay is wonderful off season ( when the beach club is closed),usually not many people. When club is open, the part of the beach without chairs/umbrellas is to small. Loud music, I don't think anyone would dance (or maybe very few), I was at the club July 2018 for a week every day, with a French family, seating inside for free.Of course we ordered food, coffees etc. Average quality, bad espresso coffee (without this cream on top and "burned") and believe me I know about espresso.Waitress didn't know if they had filter coffee and finally they didn't.. Very strange nowadays..Large menu, well described, a bit expensive though.I hope they are better, it could be top but...Never went back, but many times for a great swim...
