O Sotos (Ai Giannakis) — Restaurant in Municipality of Eurotas

We visited the place on a Thursday evening, and due to the weather being wet we were the only customers. Its placed next to the sea, and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting. Everything we ordered was very tasty and the portions were large. The boiled veggies were more than just a generous portion having five different vegetables, the octopus was delicious. The shrimp pasta was quite large with three size 1 fresh shrimps. Even the vine-beans were tasty and dipped in local olive oil. The price was on the cheap side without even considering the portions' sizes, while at the end they also brought dessert for two on the house. Definitely worth trying this traditional family taverna with local ingredients, fresh fish, local recipes and good prices. I would love to return and give a try to the grilled...

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen haben wir diesen Ort aufgesucht. Leider stellten wir fest, dass wir hier am schlechtesten in Griechenland gegessen haben. Zur Vorspeise sollte es Muscheln geben. Als Hauptspeise einen ausgesuchten 300 Gramm Fisch vom Grill und einen gegrillten Oktopus. Als Beilage zu den Hauptgerichten bestellten wir einen warmen Wildkrautsalat, der dann als erstes serviert wurde und bis endlich die Hauptspeise kam bereits eiskalt war.. Danach kam nicht die Vorspeise - die Muscheln, sondern der Oktopus. Ein blanker, kurzer Arm, mit einem Stück Zitrone, ohne jegliche Beilage. außen total trocken und hart, innen total zäh. Danach kam die Vorspeise - Muscheln. 10 Stück mit etwas Thymian-Zitronensosse. auch hier keine Beilage. Als letztes kam das kleine, 300 Gramm Fischlein, fast nicht gewürzt und ohne Beilage. Wir beide erhielten nicht gleichzeitig unser Essen, sondern sehr zeitversetzt nacheinander. Mit einer Flasche Wasser und 0,5 Liter offenen Weißwein, standen wir noch etwas hungrig auf und bezahlten hierfür 55.00 Euro. Unseres Erachtens für die kleinen Portionen und für diese doch sehr einfachste Lokalität viel zu teuer. Das einzig Gute war die Aussicht auf das Meer. Der kostenlose Parkplatz für das Wohnmobil ist sehr uneben und sehr schmutzig. Jeder wilde Strandparkplatz ist unseres Erachtens schöner. Alles in allem eine große Enttäuschung!

An incredible experience at this beautiful place. A warm welcome for our group of 7. A 5 star service from beginning to end. I can not describe the quality of food. We order fresh fish and kalamari.
