Ταβέρνα "Ὁ Στέλιος" — Restaurant in Municipality of Festos

This restaurant, in my opinion, offers the best authentic Cretan cuisine I have tasted outside of my mother-in-law's kitchen, which, I guess, is why it's frequented mostly by locals. With my family we have lunched here on several occasions, the food & service are excellent. The menu is constantly changing to accommodate fresh, seasonal ingredients, today we had the moussaka, the pastitsio & the lamb with artichokes in lemon sauce: everything was delicious. Cosa dirvi spezzatino con le cipolle come lo faceva mia nonna di qualità e molto buono semplice e fiori di zucca ripieni di riso al pomodoro gusti semplici ma di casa dolce e raki liquore tipico greco vengono offerti il servizio e gentile sorridente e solare. Ottimo stop per andare alla spiaggia degli yuppie Matala e la chiesa di cui non ricordo il nome ma potete chiedere a loro ....Da vedere .......Con gli avanzi non dimenticate di fare il take away per nutrire gatti randagi pecore e caproni che sono favolosi e con la mollica del pane ammassata mettetevi al mare e nutrite i pesci che piano piano si avvicineranno senza paura.....Ma dovete avere...
