A beautiful, cozy tavern with amazing food. The attention to detail shows just how much effort the family that owns this tavern puts into creating an authentic Greek dining experience. Everything is home made and they brought us raki and a plate of watermelon at the end of our meal which was greatly appreciated considering the heat outside. Overall a great experience, I would definitely recommend!

All the food, also the moussaka and beef burgers (Greek style, not American) tasted excellent, so we had an unforgetable lunch stop on our way from Matala to Heraklion. We had an amazing dinner experience at the snails house. The Greek salad, in terms of taste, price and portion, was so far the best I have ever eaten. The lady chef was very friendly and knows how to cook really authentic Greek food.
