After my stay on Crete and dining in different places I can wholeheartedly recommend You to find time and visit this magical place. Location is beautiful, You have this home-like feelings while dining in the garden, under the tree, with view of the sea and mountains engulfing few neighbouring buildings. It is the perfect spot to relax and escape from all the noise and crowds. Katarina's cuisine is astonishingly good. Don't be afraid to try vegetarian dishes, grilled aubergine stole my meat-eating heart! Everything we tried was very tasty, was freshly prepared and had this home-like quality You are missing when dining in larger restaurants. The prices are very affordable - I was barely able to get up from the table after spending 25 euros for four dishes and dessert split between two people! Raki which we were served "to help with digestion" was very good, You should definitely try it! I'm not sure whether You can pay with card, so have some cash with You, there's no ATM within few kilometers.
