A good restaurant to eat well. Although I would come back and also recommend it, I have to note that the fluctuation in dishes taste is large. For example xorta a traditional Greek starter had actual sugar on it or was served in very sugary balsamic syrup, the tyrokafteri was really bad. There were problems like this all over different dishes, but there also are some stunners. The bacon is great and the ntolmadakia as well. In regards to the local I really liked the decoration and boho aesthetic that was chosen and the service was great.

I really hope they fix some of the problems they have, so they become an excellent rather than a great choice!

Came once more and was much improved, main dishes were not to the level of the rest of the food but good...

We stopped here for dinner after visiting the Knossos Palace. It's a lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and really good food, also with a variety of traditional dishes.

There was no English menu available, but the owner provided one on the mobile phone; in addition, the Google reviews were very helpful, we ordered based on the pictures here :)

We had dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids, soft drinks included, for a total of €45 (a lot better than the usual tourist prices we have near Chania!)

Another hidden gem in an off the beaten path area of Heraklion but relatively close to Knossos. This restaurant boasts a wood oven and has several dishes prepared in this way. We tried various dishes to get a firm taste of the menu and most managed to deliver an exceptional experience. I particularly liked the beef cheeks and the green salad.
