Ethimikó — Restaurant in Municipality of Heraklion

Recommended! I cannot imagine a more Greek restaurant than this place. The view is fantastic! The food tasty, with generous portions. The moussaka has aubergine but also potatoes. No cinnamon and the traditional spices in the meat though.

The pork stew with onions was incredibly flavorful. I’d highly recommend this.

The backed cheese was tasty, straightforward and paired well with the Greek salad.

The location is wrong!!! Restaurant is 300m up the street, with views on the other mountains. It took us a while to find it, but it was worth it! Good food, great view, slow service (they seem understaffed and they had a big table that day, so I don’t want to make...
