ΚΑΦΕΝΕΙΟ — Restaurant in Municipality of Kythira

— Μη φιλικός ιδιοκτήτης προς κατοικίδια— Δεν μπορέσαμε να κάτσουμε στο μαγαζί δυστυχώς. Φτάσαμε στο μαγαζί με το κατοικίδιο μας και ενώ είχαμε επιλέξει να κάτσουμε στο πίσω μπαλκόνι (λόγω το κατοικίδιου),ο ιδιοκτήτης μας ενημέρωσε πως δεν επιτρέπονται τα κατοικίδια ούτε καν στον εξωτερικό χώρο. Όταν ρωτήσαμε το γιατί, προφανώς και δεν υπήρξε κάποια σοβαρή απάντηση στο ερώτημα μας παρά μόνο ότι επιτρέπονται μόνο τα ζώα συνοδείας. Οταν είπαμε πως και τα δύο κατοικίδια θεωρούνται προφανώς και δεν λάβαμε κάποια απάντηση. Αλλά ο συγκεκριμένος ξέρει ότι δύσκολα θα βρεθεί κάποιο ζώο συνοδείας στο νησί γι αυτό και το επιτρέπει. Γενικά το νησί είναι pet friendly, όπου κι αν πήγαμε εκτός από αυτήν την παραφωνία του συγκεκριμένου ιδιοκτήτη, μας έβγαζαν νεράκι και δεν αντιμετωπίσαμε κανένα πρόβλημα. Ελπίζουμε στο μέλλον αυτές οι παλαιολιθικές νοοτροπίες περί κατοικίδιων να εκλείψουν.

Απάντηση στο σχόλιο του ιδιοκτήτη: Η νομοθεσία αναφέρει πώς η είσοδος των κατοικιδίων είναι στην ευχέρεια του ιδιοκτήτη. Δεν υπάρχει νόμος που απαγορεύει την είσοδο τους σε υγειονομικούς χώρους. Κατοικίδια επισκέπτονται ακόμα και νοσοκομεία. Και επίσης ας μας απαντήσει αν τελικά τα ζώα συνοδείας θεωρούνται ή όχι κατοικίδια.
