Delicious small restaurant in the middle of what I have to call roundabout - which isn't really a bad thing, as you can observe the lovely village interactions. We visited early in the evening, and as the time was passing, place became more and more full, clearly a locals favourite. We got tomato croquettes as a starter, with home bread and tzatziki, followed by soutzoukakia, baked goat with caramelized onions, and got a bonus meal we didn't order, but didn't know how to explain owner it's not what we wanted - after all, everything we tried was so good, that we gladly kept it. Read moreThis restaurant is one of the few authentic "old style" Greek restaurants remaining on Kythira. The owner is kind and professional and the food is very good quality. Maybe a small issue could be the very little English spoken by the owner and the lack of a written menu, but, since I can speak a little Greek myself, this was not a real problem during the visits that my wife and myself paid to this restaurants. The location is also quite unusual: under some trees, in the center of a roundabout, in the middle of the village....
Read moreWe loved the outdoor courtyard, the AMAZING food cooked and served with love by a beautiful, happy and attentive man called Panayotis. There was plenty of spaces between tables, making it somehow intimate.
We a veg dish called Brahma and the goat with village salad. The bread was fresh and from the local bakery. All of this was followed by traditional Greek coffee which came with a small sweet delicacy.
