Kastro — Restaurant in Municipality of Markopoulo Mesogaias

Steady decline over the last years.

I've been visiting Kastro since i was a kid. It was considered a really prestigious and fancy venue. But it has severly declined over the last years. We visited on a Saturday night, which Kastro has a reported open hours until 3am. Service is kinda ok but we visited around 22:00 and the kitchen was closed(??!!!). Then around 23:00 the waitress asked us politely to pay cause she would leave...huh! After that, there was no service but two guys sitting on a table behind us drinking and smoking. They turned off the lights just around 12:30 while we were still there. Pathetic...

We have visited this place numerous times but the service is worse than awful. The owner and the lady who serves are unprofessional and the coffee is bad. The view is really nice but you need to change attitude as Greeks are friendly! Don't give bad reputation to...

Second time this week. I live on and off in porto rafti for the past 38 years.since i was born. As far as i remember myself a visit on the kastro cafe was good, the view spectacular, as long as you could tolerate the stupid attitude of the owner. This has not changed since the 80's so we have to wait until the owner finaly resigns or die.most probably die since he looks ok as i watch him right now not working and just give orders to the employees to stupid demands he has. Ωραίο μέρος, ξεχασμενο στα 80'ς, υπέροχη θέα, σε λογικά αυθαίρετο κτίσμα, αλλά με αφεντικό που απ όταν θυμάμαι τον εαυτό μου ήταν πάντα ιδιαίτερος στα όρια του εκκεντρικού.καποιες φορές και μαλα@@ς. Απολαύστε υπεύθυνα. Οι υπόλοιποι απλά κάνουμε υπομονή να αποσυρθεί...
