Wow! A perfect meal in a perfect setting. We really wanted a genuine rustic Greek meal (coming from the UK). They don't speak English, but don't let that stop you, the menu is in English and easy to work out. It feels like a family home with a bar inside and tables and chairs outside under the trees. We ordered the aubergine (deep-fried and so tasty) and we saw it being picked from the garden just after we'd ordered. The meatballs (called burgers on the menu) melt in your mouth and you could taste the fresh herbs. For two glasses of house wine, 2 cokes, 2 x meatballs and french fries, greens, 2 x Tstaziki, 1 x calamari, french fries, 2 x bread and a large bottle of mineral water = €41. We stopped here without a reservation on a busy August lunch time. It was a bit tricky to get a table as the staff said they were all reserved but we explained we would eat quickly and go and they gave us a table for 1.5 hours. The food came quickly and we had delicious stuffed courgette flowers, really wonderful. The meat/sausage had a strong local spice which was not bad but not to my taste.
