We loved this place - quiet beach away from tourists connected to a superb, friendly family run taverna serving great food. Sunbeds are free, some great waves to be had to keep everyone amused when there is a slight wind, some decent snorkelling out to the left and right of the beach, and even a small beach you can swim out to on the right-hand side if you are feeling adventurous.

Kids loved the wildlife they found in the river - turtles, fish, snakes, eels and more. Plus the kittens.

Server was incredibly nice. Food, ok ;) I'm afraid... calamari was good, salad afraid wasnt up to par... Only place to ever have not offered us a raki but from the response there appears to habe been a misunderstanding... though again, recgnize nobody is under any obligation to give us raki. Know that it's a "nice to have" but just strange. Ill remove the bit about the fries and take your word for it :). I think server may have just been busy with other things this day...
