Kipos Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Milos

Kipos has exceptional food and was easily one of our favorite spots for lunch or dinner while in Milos!

We came here last year during our visit to Milos and weren’t super impressed, but the restaurant has gone through a renovation and entire menu revamp, and we absolutely loved it this year! The owner, George, was a kind host, and absolutely delightful every time we stopped in. We got take out our first night in town, and came back twice after because we loved it so much. Everything on the menu was so well thought out and flavorful. Highly highly recommend the chicken, swordfish, and catch of the day!

We will absolutely make Kipos a stop on our next visit to Milos as well. It was a welcome change from souvlaki with still traditional ingredients and dishes that had flavors that felt more on par with New York or London than a remote...

Terrible. Shame what happened to this place. Went a few times in 2017, and was charmed and thrilled. Went again in June 2019 with family, and was absolutely disappointed on all fronts - service and food. Service was terrible from beginning to end. On arrival, the server aggressively jumped on us pushing drinks even before we sat down or got menus... At the end we were just hastily told the amount, without any bill or explanation. Food - the restaurant didn't have half of their already very shortened menu... even some of the basics. No care whatsoever - from mushy plates to the four tiny pieces of bland bread - the worst we've seen in years of coming to Greece and Milos. The restaurant settled for being the tourist trap for the boat excursions... shame considering that it used to be a nice...

After a few misses on the island I was extremely happy to have found this place. Everything we ordered was very tasty. The calamari were crisp and cooked to perfection. The shrimp pasta and the sword fish skewers were amazing (even though I am not the biggest fan of cous cous). The octopus fish was on the smaller size but it was very tender and the taste was great. The portokalopita and rose flavored ice cream was very refreshing! I hope they keep up the excellent food and service. The view is also...
