Ouzeri Zikos — Restaurant in Municipality of Milos

Usually, I am not very happy posting negative reviews, but this place really deserves a very low rating. We visited the place to experience local food, but we didn’t find anything. The excuse was that we arrived quite late, even though our arrival time was 8 PM. Anyway, we decided to stay and eat whatever they had available. We took a plate with meatballs that seemed were coming from a supermarket, and my plate served with a side salad without any olive oil. When I asked to bring me some olive oil, they brought me flower oil instead. I kindly asked to bring me real olive oil, hoping that this was a mistake. It was a confusing experience. The girl serving was not speaking English very good so she didn't understand when we ordered also food besides drinks. So here we were waiting for the food for about a half of hour and questioning ourselves if she understood that we ordered also food - musaca (the only one available). Seeing that it took a lot of time, we just paid the drinks (which thy charged twice) and left without understanding if she ordered for us also musaca or not). Remote and outstanding, the menu was alright and tasteful but not exceptional as expected for a place like this. Traditional plates like mousaka were nice, fries were in a good quantity, zikos bread is recommended but plates like the saganaki, octopus or the seafood could be better. I do not know for the meats at all, so, you have to try them yourself.
