Family-run taverna with extremely helpful and nice owner. Great kebab, fresh fish and Greek salad made with own olive oil. Mooring next to taverna is challenging in strong winds (blows along the channel, changing direction). Anchor does not hold too well. + It's only deep to the right of it. We stopped at Porto Garakas to enjoy the natural beauty of the fjord. It happened to be lunch time and we were tempted by the menu at Aura. The food was superb. We had some of the best grilled sardines and anchovies in vinegar I’ve ever tasted. And the orzo with shrimp was delicate and well-seasoned. We stopped in for a coffee, but decided to have a Greek salad. It was the best we have had in our two weeks in Greece. The tomatoes were wonderful and the rest of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We hope to go back for another salad and try something else...
