Deilino — Restaurant in Municipality of Monemvasia

Was my favorite place for years when visiting the area. Unfortunately at the end of last year I have decided to call it quits. This is for the following instances:

1. I was there 2 years ago with some invitees and we ordered squids. Instead of the regular squids that I was expecting, we got the large ones (Thrapsala) hard and no tasty. There was the first time we were served this type of dish, we tried but no one finished the meal.
2. Last year the owner with some pretextes (not knowing how to enter the code) avoided the use of credit card twice,
3. As a regular customer, I expect some respect as far as the quality of the food I am served. Again last year we were three and ordered marides. The fish was stale-opinion of al of us- we didn't eat them and due to being late we ordered pork (was good). We didn't say anything about the fish and she didn't ask us why we did not eat it. We figured out that was impossible the owner no knowing what she was serving. Of course was inutil to complain once we have decided tha regardless of what we were not going to be there...

Το επισκεφτήκαμε για δείπνο μας εξυπηρέτησαν μετά από 40 λεπτά για να μας πουν ότι δεν έχουν pos και ότι τα φώτα αναβόσβηναν γιατί το πλυντήριο βραχυκυκλώνει. Κατάλογο δεν μας έδωσαν ποτέ να δούμε έστω τις τιμές να ξέρουμε τι να ξοδέψουμε αφού έπρεπε να αρκεστούμε στα μετρητά που έτυχε να έχουμε! Μας είπα απλά προφορικά 5-6 πιάτα και ότι θα κόστιζαν περίπου στα 10€ ότι πάρουμε. Η βετζετεριαν επιλογή που μας έδωσε ο σερβιτόρος είναι η χωριάτικη ( ότι ναναι ) Πήραμε μια χωριάτικη ένα γαύρο τηγανητό 2 καλαμαράκια τηγανητά 1 πατάτες τηγανιτές 4 καλαμάκια χοιρινά και 1 εμφιαλωμένο νερό και πληρώσαμε 60 ευρώ Η εξυπηρέτηση γενικά ήταν άθλια σηκωνόμασταν και περνάμε μόνοι μας αλατοπίπερα μαχαιροπήρουνα και χαρτοπετσέτες. Το αποκορύφωμα ήταν ένας ξέμπαρκος σκύλος κοιμόταν στην γυναικεία τουαλετα και μετά από αυτό το δείπνο πονούσε το στομάχι μας αφόρητα όλοι νύχτα Έπρεπε απλά να είχαμε φύγει στο πρώτο 40λεπτο απλά πετάξαμε...

Just think that the waiters attention was most of the time to his bike. He served the first plates without fork and knife. We asked for the bill, he 1st corrected his bike handlebar, and then he gave us the bill. Big delays etc etc. Unbelivable..... the place is fantastic and needs...
