Maistrali — Restaurant in Municipality of Nafpaktia

This a "long term" review after visitng this restaurant 5 times over the past year. Today I ordered grilled sea bream and haddock and steamed mussels with a Greek salad. The servers were courteous and very fast. The kitchen was also fast and the fish were grilled to perfection. The view is quite nice with being close to sunset

Generally, It is worth the hassle of driving off the highway to go to this restaurant. The servers have always been courteous and responsive. We never had any issue with fish freshness and salad freshness. The only thing we aren't crazy about is their home wine... Pricewise, for the quality it is a deal. So, we are cruising down the highway, approaching Patra, my husband says “are you ready to stop for lunch?” I google mapped nearby restaurants and Maistrali came up with great reviews. This place is a hidden gem, right on the water, down a dirt road. We kept thinking, no way is there a restaurant back here but, there it was! A beautiful garden oasis. Food is beyond expectations! Fresh fish and salads, prices and servings very well balanced! Best value for money for families and big groups. Staff and owner very polite and fast to serve, the location is remote but worth the trip as you end up right by the beach! Risotto options , grilled shrimps and squid are the best sellers !!
