We stumbled upon this remote taverna-meets-beach-club by accident as we were looking for some breakfast-to-go on our way to the beach. Not only did we like the breakfast, but also the atmosphere and kindness of the hosts invited us to return there a few times during our week in Naxos. The cook knows his Greek foods, everything fresh, good quality, good quantities and to satisfaction. He turned out to be a coffee-pundit who specializes in quality coffee making and even trains baristas and fixes espresso machines. His espressos and cappuccinos were A+ and his friendliness also made us feel at ease in their taverna. The owners surprised us with nice local drinks to try every time we visited. Read moreWalked over from Finikas hotel. Ordered 2 lemonades, a large bottle of water, and food. After 10 min the lemonades arrived, but it took 30 min and a reminder for the water. After 1h20 the Greek salad finally made it to the table (without cutlery though…), but by then we were already fed up with the incredibly chaotic service, so paid for what we had and left.
