Taverna Mitsos — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We visited the taverna Mitsos due to the high ranking and the publicity they have. We were there on the 21st of September around 14:00 to get our lunch and we were surprised that the tavern was almost full! We have requested for the plate of the day but was finished so we decided to order the "famous biftekia" burgers just to see why are so popular. The outcome for us is that this specific plate is overestimated and we didn't find something magic in it except it's price. Although we were generally satisfied from the food and the Greek salad, we definitely didn't find any specific reason to visit them again. Jasas Fani, we enjoyed the lunch at your Taverna very much. Later on when we were waiting for the Taxi we had a very nice conversation. Just too short. It is a pity that we only had to wait more than 1 hour for the Taxi. Also my 2 little girls enjoyed it while we were talking about the past when you were a young girl. Great restaurant in one of the best beaches on the island. The staff were super friendly and helpful, very eager to help you with your order or anything you need. The food was amazing. We ended up visiting twice so we could taste more dishes, and they were all exceptional. Definitely try the goat in any of the preparations they offer and the burger (bifteki).
