If you are in Paralia Dionisiou, ILIAS Tavern is an absolute must! 🌊 From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is wonderful – whether you want to relax on the comfortable sunbeds at the beach bar or enjoy a meal right by the sea in the restaurant, it’s simply perfect.

The menu offers more than enough variety, with something for everyone, and everything I’ve tried has been tasty and freshly prepared. My personal favorite is the Club Gyro – absolutely delicious! 🥙

What makes this place truly special is the staff. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel at home. A special mention goes to Ersi, who always has a smile and takes such great care of the guests – she really makes the experience unforgettable.

We went to this tavern specifically because we were tempted by the positive reviews. We were not disappointed (almost). We ordered a alcohol free cocktail and a frappe with ice cream on the sunbeds - very good, refreshing and fresh. Then we moved inside and ordered breaded cod with garlic sauce, souvlaki and tzatziki. Unfortunately, the fish was disappointing. There was more batter than fish, and the fish seemed to have been defrosted too quickly because it was mushy. The souvlaki (pork) was very tender and well seasoned, and the tzatziki was very tasty. Despite the fish, we recommend this place because we saw a lot of tasty-looking dishes on other...

We had a wonderful time every day of our 10 days' vacation at the Ilias beachfront. We had some takeaway meals here which were tasty and plentiful (go and try tsipoura fish, grilled, my fav). The beach itself is kids friendly, and the diving experience for my son was very amusing and inspiring (we got to see the octopus a few times, and fished out some nice looking shells). And nothing of it would work out if it wasnt for the thoughtful, kind and helpful waiter girls who did their absolute best to make this one a holiday to bookmark.
