Ammolofos Seaside Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Propontida

Unfortunately, our experience here was disappointing.

We asked for three sunbeds since we are a family of three, but the hostess only gave us two, claiming no others were available. However, we noticed several sunbeds “reserved” with towels from the bar—clearly not in use or genuinely booked. Meanwhile, a group of five was placed under one umbrella with three sunbeds, which felt unnecessarily cramped and profit-driven.

We were told a waiter would come to take our order, but no one ever did. I eventually had to go to the bar myself, despite seeing several staff members standing around talking. It gave the impression that guest service was not a priority.

Another issue was that a group of teenagers began playing squash and football right in front of our sunbeds, even though the space was tight and unsuitable for that kind of activity. Surprisingly, their parent didn’t intervene. What made it more frustrating was that the beach bar actually has a volleyball court and plenty of open space specifically for sports—yet no one redirected them there.

While this may have been an unusually unlucky visit, and perhaps others have had better experiences, I personally wouldn’t recommend it. The venue itself is large, with many rows of sunbeds, but it suffers from poor organization and inattentive service.

This was also the only place in Halkidiki where we chose not to...

Nice atmosphere, comfortable beds. A lot of parking and space inside. The sea itself is absolutely beautiful and there's a nice atmosphere for sunset as well. Shallow water, good for kids or older people. No mandatory fee, the portions of salad were smaller than in some other clubs. Good coffee.

The wooden walking paths could be fixed and the flowers trimmed. The sand around sunbeds and also the surrounding area, especially the parking could be cleaned much better, there's garbage. When you enter the parking, it's full of trash from your own bins. Resulting in many wasps surrounding the guests...

Πολιτική της αρπαχτής!

Μη ξεκάθαρη/αντισυνεπής πολιτική ελάχιστης κατανάλωσης — προσωπικό δίνει διαφορετικές απαντήσεις.

Χρέωση παιδιού χωρίς προηγούμενη ενημέρωση — απαίτηση μετά την παραγγελία.

Αργή και κακή εξυπηρέτηση για την τιμή (π.χ. 25' για ένα ρόφημα, αναψυκτικό 5€).

Συμπεριφορά που μοιάζει με «παγίδα» για πελάτες που δεν γνωρίζουν τον άγραφο κανόνα.

Επισκεφτήκαμε το beach bar Ammolofos (2 ενήλικες, 2 παιδιά 5 και 10 ετών) και παρότι πήγαμε στην πιο πίσω σειρά για να αποφύγουμε την ελάχιστη χρέωση των 30€ που ισχύει μπροστά, καταλήξαμε θύματα ασάφειας και αυθαίρετης χρέωσης. Μας είπε άτομο του προσωπικού — και το ίδιο επιβεβαίωσε η κόρη του ιδιοκτήτη όταν ήρθε — ότι «χρεώνουν ό,τι πάρεις». Έτσι παρήγγειλα μόνο ένα ρόφημα για μένα δίπλα στην 5χρονη κόρη μου και κανείς δεν μας ενημέρωσε ότι πρέπει να παραγγείλουμε και για το παιδί.

Όταν ήρθε η κόρη του ιδιοκτήτη να ξανα-μαζέψει παραγγελίες, ζήτησε από τη σύζυγό μου να παραγγείλει και για την κόρη μας, και τελικά μας χρέωσαν αυτή την παραγγελία — ενώ άλλες οικογένειες με παιδιά γύρω μας δεν αντιμετώπισαν τέτοιο θέμα. Επιπλέον, το ρόφημα της συζύγου ήρθε μετά από 25 λεπτά (χωρίς ιδιαίτερη προετοιμασία) και το αναψυκτικό χρεώθηκε 5€ — άθλια σχέση ποιότητας/τιμής για την εξυπηρέτηση που προσέφεραν.

Δεν είναι ζήτημα 6€· είναι η έλλειψη διαφάνειας, οι αντιφάσεις του προσωπικού και η αίσθηση ότι προσπαθούν να «αρπάξουν» πελάτες με κρυφές χρεώσεις. Είχαμε ξαναπάει φέτος χωρίς τέτοιο θέμα, οπότε η αλλαγή και η ασυνεπής εφαρμογή των κανόνων είναι ακόμα πιο εξοργιστική. Δεν θα ξαναπάμε και θα ενημερώσω γνωστούς — προειδοποιήστε κι εσείς πριν καθίσετε, ζητήστε ξεκάθαρη γραπτή ενημέρωση για την ελάχιστη κατανάλωση και για τα παιδιά.
