An honestly horrendous experience. We came here for our friends birthday as it look lovely and the reviews were great. There were 12 of us. It started off nice - we ordered our drinks, starters and mains. 1 person ordered steamed muscles and someone else ordered muscles with cheese. A Young guy took our order. The drinks arrived and the waiter went to the person who ordered steamed muscles and told them they had run out. Not a problem, they ordered something else. But he did not tell the other person and we assumed they still had muscles with cheese. the starters began coming out shortly after. Most people had their starters but one person was still waiting for halloumi, one was waiting for his muscles (which they did not have and didn't see fit to let them know) and another was waiting for calamari. Those who had their food started eating. And finished eating. But the other starters never arrived despite us asking them multiple times and being assured they were coming. And then, the person waiting for the calamari found her main placed in front of her. We questioned this and the waiter simply looked at us and didn't say anything before walking off, a few minutes later, he brought over their starter........ claiming that he had accidentally brought out another tables main out and It was a mistake. Those who had food finished and waited for the remaining starters. We spoke to the waiter again and at this point he told us they didn't have the cheese muscles. And asked what else they wanted. By this point we had been there for an hour and a half and plates and empty glasses were stacked on our table and hadn't been taken away. By this point we were fed up of being ignored so we asked for the bill. We went up to the bar and tried to pay but what we assume to be the manager began belittling us and accusing of lieing stating we never ordered half of the starters and made no attempt to chase up the food???? I didn't realise that it was our job to ensure they actually bring us the food we ordered. He was very rude and threatened to "check CCTV" but didn't seem all the willing to do so when we agreed. He was awful and called made slashing motions to his neck whilst calling us "Bad" we paid (too much) and left. Whilst waiting for a lift, a car - which I suspect had restaurant staff inside - drove past us and they were shouting at us in greek out of the window. A genuinely horrific experience on what should have been a...
Read moreThe food was delicious however the service was shocking. Half of us never received our starters and only myself received my starter and main. We asked to just leave the rest of the food and go to another place. When going up to the bar to pay for what we had received, we asked for a discount on some drinks due to a birthday dinner ruined and it already being nearly 10pm at this point. When we asked this, we were treated very badly, accused of having food when we never received, they then threatened to look at the cctv as we were “lying”. The waiters were then lying and said we never ordered some items when we triple checked the order when ordering and asked twice where the remainder of the food was. They eventually knocked off 1 main (that wasn’t even meant for our table) and 1 drink. We paid and left then the owner stood outside and shaking his head at us while we were waiting for our taxi. Would not recommend, awful service and tragic ownership. EDIT - looking back at the full receipt, they only actually took off the cheaper food option and kept the drink on the bill which they said they...
Read moreWe can totally recommend this restaurant! It's a family business where the husband & wife cook while the 2 sons serve the tables. We had lunch here with a shrimp saganaki for starter, a sea bream (aka dorada) for main course and then baklava and lemon pie for deserts. The starter was very tasty, although the sauce was too liquid, almost like a soup. And the shrimps were not the small circular ones you expect, but instead the larger prawns. The grilled dorada was very tasty, as you'd expect from a fresh fish. And the deserts were simply to die for! They were the best deserts we ate all holiday! Incredibly delicios and savory, both home made. Besides the good food, the person who served us was very friendly, polite and communicative. He even gave us to taste some kumquat liqueur and mastic liqueur, something totally new for us and with very interesting taste. All in all, we really enjoyed our lunch here and we would...
