I recently ate at Taverna Sun Set on the island of Corfu, and it was really amazing.
The atmosphere is gorgeous, I think especially in the evening. Watching the sunset while having dinner is such a beautiful experience, but we ate at late afternoon. The outdoor seating has a perfect view, making it really relaxing and romantic.
The food was very tasty. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. There’s a lot to choose from on the menu, so everyone can find something they like.
The service was great too. The staff were very friendly and took good care of us. They knew a lot about the menu and gave us good recommendations.
The prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the quality of the food and the beautiful setting/ambiance. It’s a great value for money.
Overall, I highly recommend Taverna Sun Set if you’re visiting Corfu. Whether you want a romantic dinner or a nice meal with friends and family, this place is definitely...
Read moreThe place has a lot of potential. The views over Acharavi and the sea are truly stunning, and the calm atmosphere makes it a lovely spot to relax. However, to be honest, this is not a 5-star restaurant — at least not yet.

The space itself could benefit from some thoughtful upgrades, like better sunshades and higher-quality wooden tables and chairs. Small changes like these could really elevate the overall experience.
I don’t mean to be impolite — we genuinely wanted to enjoy it — but we left feeling a bit disappointed. That said, with some focused improvements, this place could become something...
Read moreI hope you find my negative review helpful. The reasons for me posting this are -once seated you are immediately brought a basket of 'complimentary' bread which seems a nice touch. This is then charged to your bill without being told -at the point of paying we were asked 'you have no cash?' luckily we had 50 euros in the car. they wouldn't accept card. I expect a restaurant to tell customers they are cash only before they order. -we paid and waited for our change. They never came back with it, it appears they just keep it. -food was below average. I ordered mixed grill which was just a plate of meat and chips. Far too salty for my taste but I realise others may like it. Good...
