The god smiled on us. This place was a random place out of no where.

We were driving to Delphi from Athens. No plan of any particular place to eat. Got off an random exit. Went to a round about. Took the first right on the round about. Saw this restaurant. It looked Empty and closed. But a handsome man standing outside, smoking. The place was quant and with a great view and surroundings.

We were the first customers.

To our great surprise, everything we order were cooked to perfection. To my belief, all the food were homemade and fresh.

The couple, who own the place, makes me feel like mom and dad. Took very good care of us. They take great pride in their cooking.

For sure this is the THE place to go for something authentic, unique, and special experience.

If we are ever back in Athen Greece, absolutely must come back for the delicious food, family friendly service, and the quiet country side atmosphere.

Thank you. Happy New Year. Many many blessing to the welcoming couple and...

Review: A Hidden Gem Just Outside Athens

Tucked away just beyond the bustle of Athens lies a charming taverna run by an incredible couple whose passion for their craft shines in every detail. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed like family into an atmosphere that’s both warm and unforgettable.

The food reflects the same heartfelt touch. The salad was a standout — fresh, vibrant, and simply unbelievable. The chicken with pasta offered a more subtle flavor profile; not the highlight of the meal, but still a comforting and well-prepared dish. The kaftedaki were delicious, with just the right balance of spices, and the sausages packed a punch of flavor, though a bit on the salty side.

What truly sets this place apart is the genuine hospitality and soul poured into every plate and every corner of the space. It’s not just a meal — it’s an experience. A real gem for anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy honest, heartfelt...

We were on our way from Athens and only planned to grab a quick bite before continuing our trip. But this place—and its charming, welcoming owners—made us want to stay longer. We enjoyed a delicious homemade chocolate ice cream and baklava for dessert, and spent a warm evening in a cozy Greek garden, chatting with the owners about the upcoming vacations.

It’s definitely worth stopping by to experience excellent Greek cuisine with a...
