Ταβέρνα Μουριές — Restaurant in Municipality of Patras

We ate here in Oct. 2018, visiting a good friend and his daughter, his daughters eat here and selected the place for us to meet and hang out. We sat out on the patio, even though it was border line cool/warm out. just us outside and we ate the Best and tastiest food we had in our 3 weeks in Hellas. Everywhere was pretty good food !! but was a notch above here. We had Steak, wild bore, two other meals ( i forget which others, the others ordered), but all was so delicious and friendly help. I highly recommend this place !!! Efharisto for the great food and atmosphere.... and to assist the owner/waitress to remember us, here's a photo of us that night. We’ve been there three times and I haven’t taken any pictures of the food. But trust me the food is divine. My favorites so far are the tyropita drizzled with honey, sausages served with French fries and lemon wedges, goat with potatoes, the pork chop is grilled to perfection, the eggplant boureki(?) and many others that were AMAZING.

We also had lamb chops on two occasions. The first time they were beautiful, nice and juicy. The second time there was barely any meat on them AND they were overly cooked.

I still giving them 5 stars because I believe the 2nd lamb chops were a fluke. This is...

Πήγα μέρα αιχμής -25η Μαρτίου-. Μπριζόλα χάλια από όλες τις απόψεις, ο βακαλάος (πιατο ημέρας) με σκορδαλιά πολύ ωραίος άξιζε 4 αστέρια άνετα, με πολύ ωραία σαλάτα (Caesars), παϊδάκια φοβερά και το μπιφτέκι γεμιστό αρκετά μέτριο. Όταν η μπριζόλα είναι τόσο κακή, μικρή, άγευστη και γενικά όσο χειρότερη θα μπορούσε να γίνει δεν μπορώ να βάλω παραπάνω από 3 αστέρια. Τέλος γεγονός που ρίχνει πολύ την εικόνα του μαγαζιού: ένα εκ των τεσσάρων πιάτων (βακαλάος) ήρθε πολύ πολύ καθυστερημένο μετά από δικιά μας υπενθύμιση και μια τυρόπιτα που είχαμε παραγγείλει δεν ήρθε ποτέ. Επιπλέον, το προσωπικό (service) ερασιτεχνικό και οριακά απαράδεκτο, με αγενή συμπεριφορά από κάποια πρόσωπα εκτός ολίγων αρκετά ευγενικών. Συμπερασματικά έχει ωραίο φαγητό απλά ΜΗΝ ΠΑΤΕ σε μέρα αιχμής γιατί δεν θα έχετε μια ευχάριστη εμπειρία. Αξίζει πολλά περισσότερα απλά από ένα μαγαζί πολλών χρόνων και καλής φήμης (με πάνω από 4.5 αστέρια) έχεις μεγαλύτερες προσδοκίες και επουδενί δεν επιτρέπονται εικόνες όπως η 0/5 μπριζόλα, η αγενή συμπεριφορά και το να ξεχνάνε το τι έχει παραγγείλει ο καθένας κάνοντας τον πλέον να μην θέλει να το φάει. (Τι κόκαλα είχε αυτός ο βακαλάος και η τυρόπιτα 😂)

Edit: Εάν την επόμενη φορά που θα πάω εκεί δω βελτίωση και αλλαγές (ώντας συχνός πελάτης του μαγαζιού και έχοντας μια καλή εικόνα τα προηγούμενα χρόνια η οποία επηρεάστηκε πολύ απ' την πρόσφατη μου εμπειρία) θα αλλάξω και την...
