I have been recommended to go this restaurant as the best in the area so I gave it not one, two tries. First of all to say that the view is amazing by the sea and the service suberb. To the food now. Day 1 I ordered zucchini balls and shrimp pasta. The zucchini was really good but the past for which I had expectations as a recommended seafood restaurant was below medium. There was not any distinct toast just some pasta and some big shrimps inside, which were not hot done before hour, a very medium plate, not bad but nothing to talk about. Day 2 I said maybe was a bad choice to give it a second chance so I went thee ewith a friend. Mushroom pie - mashrooms from can Cooked eggplant with cheese - the sauce was disaster, sour Worst of all was my main, beef with white sauce. I know this plate as my mother cooks it, is from the area, and was a very medium execution.also the quality of the beef was far below average, pitty for 10 euro the plate. So just to eat with an amazing view is ok and recommended but please don't talk about best restaurant and amazing food cause you make me think you don't eat well...
Read moreThis restaurant is located right on the water overlooking a scenery that is hard to forget. I although I had a bit of difficulty remembering the name of this restaurant, everyone in our dinner party remembered how much we enjoyed our meals. The calamari with Orzo was my favorite but others had the fish soup, fried zucchini balls, sardines and Horta. Everything was fresh and delicious, including the carafe of red wine which was the best red wine I have ever had in Greece. We topped off our meal with a plate of varied desserts and each was unique and delicious. The restaurant told off your meal with a small bottle of Tendura, which is a dark brown cinnamon based liqueur that is unique to this area of the Peloponeso. The service was impeccable and the pricing was surprisingly reasonable for the type of offerings the restaurant serves. This was my first time at this restaurant and I can truthfully state that we will surely...
Read moreThis is my favorite restaurant in Greece. I’ve been to Greece every summer for the last seven years and this food is consistently the best and amazing how the quality is so much higher than the price.
I’d highly recommend the octopus in vinegar and shrimp saganaki. For vegetarians their Greek salad, fried zucchini chips, and eggplant are incredible.
The setting is incredible. I’ve never been to a restaurant where you are so close to such clear water. The kids love watching and feeding the fish.
The service is better one exceptional. Family owned and operated as all of the best Greek restaurants are.
I can’t recommend Oneirodromio enough. It’s worth the drive from Athens in...
