I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thymari restaurant in Paxos, and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant's setting was enchanting, nestled amidst the picturesque beauty of Paxos, providing a serene and charming ambiance for a delightful meal. The outdoor seating area offered stunning views, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing evening.
Now, let's talk about the food - simply divine! The menu featured an array of delectable Greek dishes that were bursting with flavor. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, using fresh and locally-sourced ingredients that captured the essence of Greek cuisine. From the savory moussaka to the succulent grilled octopus, every bite was a delight for the taste buds.
The service at Thymari was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences with a smile.
The restaurant's commitment to quality was evident in every aspect of the dining experience, from the presentation of the dishes to the attention to detail in the overall dining setup. Thymari truly excelled in creating a dining experience that felt both indulgent and authentic.

Read more30 minutes of walking seemed like a fair deal, until we we're halfway up the hill and drenched to the skin. Nevertheless, the ambiance and atmosphere of Thymari proved to be worth it from the very first second. We started with the courgette flan and mushrooms from the oven, which were well balanced, earthy dishes with a ton of flavour. We followed it up with the traditional Moussaka and the prawn orzo. Both blew us away. Very rich, cooked to perfection, every element of the dish finding its way to your tastebuds. Finally, our desserts were the Thymari and the Galaktoboureko. They managed to push the boundary set by this evening even further. We savoured every minute we were there and left the restaurant truly spoiled, not in the least by the proud, attentive and enthusiastic staff. We hope to return one day. It really completed our...
Read moreService was more than ok nothing special, same with atmosphere if you exclude the cats walking around our feet then it was a good place, the food however I didn't really like. First of all the portions were too small (chicken was literally 2 small pieces that I could literally eat in 1 minute) and It got awkward before I asked for normal potatoes instead of mass potatoes which eventually got settled. the taste was ok nothing more than that. The salad with watermelon wasn't that good because lime was too much on it. Anyways the main problem was that the food was just ok but I didn't cover my appetite at all and I ended up getting more food afterwards from another place. Last but not least the prices on the main dishes were too much (18euro for a chicken) especially considering the little to very little...
