We recently stopped for three juices, totaling a hefty 13.50 euros. When it came time to pay, we were informed they only accepted cash. This was a huge surprise as there was no signage anywhere indicating a cash-only policy. We politely explained we only had cards, and to our astonishment, a card terminal suddenly materialized! We were then able to pay with our card, but the whole experience felt very suspicious. This kind of behavior raises serious questions about potential tax evasion and violations of Visa and Mastercard rules. It feels like they were trying to push for cash-only transactions until challenged. This sort of experience really soured our beautiful and welcoming vacation in Crete. I don't recommend that place. Such cute little tavern in the heart of the mountains! It is only few minutes drive from Crete Botanical Gardens! Such amazing vibes! We stopped here for a quick bite! We ordered 2 starters and 1 main which was more than enough for 2 people! They have locally produced orange juice and lemonade (must try)

Their pork sausages were homemade and very delicious as well (starter)

The fresh breeze of the mountain and the quiet nature with sounds of birds chirping and roosters from made me so relaxed!

They have locally produced honey as well that u can purchase from them! A must try!

Saganaki was bad, not deep fried and the cheese inside was solid Took too long to place the order Waitress brought us some grilled bread which we didn't ask for and thought it was complimentary, but were charged 3 euro for it. Unfortunately, it wasn't tasty as well
