We wanted to try the restaurant for a while. The food is good, it has that homemade feel to it. I liked the soutzoukakia, I think is one of the best that we tried in Crete so far. The view is nice, and the place seems mostly filled with local people.
What bothered me, though, and ruined my overall experience were the very skinny and hungry cats. The food is beautifully cooked and served in ample portions. No menu, but clear verbal explanations of the dishes available. The boureki is the best I have ever had. Fresh vegetables are used for the tasty Cretan salad, with ample supplies of made on the premises olive oil.

Read moreThe best local restaurant in Crete so far. The owner was very hospitable and friendly. The food made by his mother was heavenly and truly delicious. For starters, we had the Crete mizithra salad and the three-cheese baked dish. The boureki was delicious, and the casserole pork was also really, really good. Cretan music was played on speakers while we ate. Definitely worth a visit! Thank you so much for the hospitality, we will come again!...
