"A disgrace" to Greek fish taverns. Up to last year, we used to go and enjoy simple and nice food in a beautiful setting by the sea. This year, we rushed out, on the first opportunity we had to drive from Athens to Fotini's, but the disappointment was huge!!. The Greek salad was served in a small plate and only had three small pieces of feta cheese in it. The squid and the zucchini balls had been fried in a cooking oil that had been used so much that it gave a black tint to everything. Because of this, the zucchini balls were black on the outside and seemed to be cooked, but the inside was oozing out, as you tried to cut them up. No catch of the day any more either. It took me a day to digest the few anchovies I ate. The tzatziki was plain mayonnaise with shredded cucumber. Read moreWe found this place accidentally, tucked away in the middle of nowhere.. it was incredible. The people, food, tables, walk there, view and overall feel was something I’ll never forget.
The food was like my mom and yaya make it which hit me right in the feels. (So good I took no photos!) There were 4 generations of women working together (including a little one!) and they made us feel like we were a guest in their home.
