Horizon Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Pylos and Nestor

Update 2025: not as nice as the years before...last year you had to pay 6 € for two sunbeds (the years before it was free...) This year: 8 € PLUS minimum consumption of 4 €...garbage on the beach and messy sunbeds included... Still a nice beach, but not if you know how it was before. Quite expensive food and drinks. But not too many people there anymore...I wonder why....

Very nice beach bar, absolutely recommendable. Great food, greek - but a little bit different and creative, extremely tasty and of a very good quality. Very nice staff, especially Fotis, the waiter / bartender – always having an eye on the needs of the guests. Good music for every taste. A good place to spend your time on vacation. The beach is also very nice, the sunbeds are standing not too...

Returning to this place after three years, I was somewhat disappointed, particularly with the owners' behavior. We were three families (7 adults and 5 kids) and we rented three umbrellas, one per family. Two adults were sitting on a sunbed when a waiter approached and told my wife that two people should not sit on the same sunbed as it might break!!!!!! Moreover, as we paid and were gathering our belongings to leave the beach, the same waiter came and began sweeping the sunbeds clear of sand right in front of us, not even waiting for us to depart!!!!! In my view and experience, this is utterly unprofessional behavior. Coffee was decent nothing special.

Best Beach bar and more! Drinks are good (piña colada is my favourite), food different from most other places in area. We especially like the 'strapatsàda' (scrambled eggs with tomato sauce and sausage - very tasty!), the tabulé salad (I prefer the one without chicken) and the 3 different flavoured hummus - natural, pesto or beetroot. I like all 3! Good service, good music. Have been 3 times already and looking forward to...
